Wind Storms
Here in Western Washington one of the things we get to look forward to in the Fall and Winter are wind storms. Tonight it is blowing pretty good. I think that our dog is going to skip the normal comforts of his chinchilla sleigh bed to snuggle with us tonight. When he gets scared he loses all interest in his tug toy, and everything else except for maybe food or whoopie pies. (Almost nothing deters him from food.) I don’t think he would do to good as an outdoors dog because of this. Even if he had a nice dog house to keep him dry from the rain and sheild him from the wind, he would still be frightened by it.
I guess there are other reasons why he isn’t an outdoors dog. We wouldn’t be able to adorn him with nice dog jewelry like this pave clear crystal star or pleather heart collar without the fear of them getting ruined or dirty. Bichons just make better indoors dogs anyhow I think. Anyhow, I hope that he will calm down tonight and be able to rest.
