Small dog breeds are a very popular choice amonst dog owners all over the world. This is not to say that the larger breeds are not popular as well. I believe that the key reason people like the smaller dog breeds is that they are easier to deal with. Large dogs are usually to large to keep in the house for most owners. There are some exceptions, but most owners keep them outside. It is also easier to pamper smaller dogs. Most companies that make fancy dog products cater to the smaller breeds anyways. Clothing is another category that caters mostly to small dogs. Though, you can find some for large breeds as well. As much as the dog industry is growing, it won’t be long before all kinds of breeds can benefit completely from the high end products that are on the market.
