Caring for Your Senior Dog
As dogs get older their needs change. They are not the playful and energetic puppy that they used to be. Not that they don’t play at all, but just like most everyone else they tend to slow down a bit. A few things to consider for your aging dog. Make sure that it is soft enough to ease joint aches, and that it is easy to get in and out of. Fetch toys might be something that they cannot handle anymore, as well.
